We are so excited to bring a local news platform to the community, one that is built on a genuine love and appreciation for all the pieces – the people, local businesses, schools, sports teams, and organizations – that make Pasadena whole.
Pasadena is a place where the word Community has depth and meaning. It’s full of history, it’s full of heart, and it’s full of homage – all because of the hardworking and passionate people who live here.
For my husband James and I, we have firmly planted roots – it’s where we grew up, met, and now raise our three kids.
There’s a lot of quirky things to know about living here in Pasadena.
Living in Pasadena means knowing that if there’s a backup on Mountain Road, it’s probably best to just stay put for a while. Living in Pasadena means knowing that our local businesses are the backbone of our community, and their continual support and sponsorship of our little league teams and neighborhood events is a treasure. Living in Pasadena means knowing that on the first Sunday of every November, there’s a parade that marches through Pasadena in which canned goods are collected for local food pantries. Living in Pasadena means knowing that if tragedy ever strikes one of our own, the community doesn’t think twice about coming together to help.
So what does all this mean, exactly? Why should you care?
