My guest on this episode is Barnabas Domowski, owner of Maryland Decking and several other outdoor living companies.
Barnabas is an Army veteran who specialized in logistics and intel when deployed to Iraq. After returning home he started picking up construction jobs for friends and family while also working at the Port of Baltimore. In 2014 the “War on Coal” forced Barnabas out of his job at the Port, and with the support of his wife, into the world of entrepreneurship.
In our interview Barnabas shares his passion for building businesses, how hiring experienced professionals allowed him to grow, and the importance of making short term sacrifices for long term gains.
