The Friends of Downs Park is gearing up for a full summer of family-friendly fun along the Chesapeake Bay, beginning with their upcoming Family Day on the Bay event on Saturday, June 6 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Downs Park, located at 8311 John Downs Loop in Pasadena.
The event promises an afternoon packed with activities for all ages while showcasing local businesses, entertainment, and community spirit in one of Pasadena’s most scenic waterfront settings.
Attendees can expect a variety of attractions and activities, including:

- Moon bounce attractions
- A dunk tank

Organizers describe the event as a celebration of family, friends, and community – all while enjoying the beautiful views of the Chesapeake Bay at Downs Park. Admission to the park is free on Saturday, June 6 for Family Fun Day.
2026 Friends of Downs Park Summer Concert Series
In addition to Family Day on the Bay, the Friends of Downs Park have also announced their popular 2026 Summer Concert Series, featuring free live music performances every Sunday evening throughout June, July, and August.
Concerts will take place on the following dates from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are free and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, and friends to enjoy the music in the park’s outdoor setting.
