If you’ve driven by the former Brumwell’s property in Pasadena, Maryland recently, you’ve likely noticed the progress being made on the Jacobsville Town Center 55+ Condos by Ryan Homes. This development is transforming the area and will soon offer a new option for active adults seeking modern, low-maintenance living in Anne Arundel County.
The Senior Project Manager at NVR shared some important updates and details about the project timeline. Here’s what to know:
Project Overview and Timeline
The first building under construction, named the “Mosaic,” is on track for significant milestones. Here are the key updates:
- Model Home Opening: Targeted for late April 2025
- Building Details: Each building will have four floors with 24 units per building.
- Floor Plans: The Mosaic will feature three decorated floor plans, each offering 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms:
- Sapphire: 1,559+ sq. ft. – Download the Sapphire floor plan
- Ruby: 1,333+ sq. ft. – Download the Ruby floor plan
- Emerald: 1,162+ sq. ft. – Download the Emerald floor plan
These floorpans are specific to the Greenwich Walk community in Chesterfield, VA and should not be considered indicative of the final layouts for Jacobsville Town Center. The Ryan Homes website will provide detailed information about the Jacobsville Town Center community roughly 60 days before the model home opens.
Pricing Information
Final pricing for Jacobsville Town Center has not yet been determined, but Ryan Homes is committed to ensuring the prices are competitive for the Pasadena market and aligned with community needs. Pricing specifics will become available approximately 30 days before the model home opens.
Long-Term Development Plans
Ryan Homes is committed to constructing seven buildings as part of this project, with a timeline of approximately three years to complete the entire community. Each building will offer the same high-quality floor plans, ensuring future residents can enjoy thoughtfully designed, comfortable living spaces.
For decades, the site now being transformed into Jacobsville Town Center was home to Brumwell’s flea market. Bonnie Brumwell-Hoyas, who, along with her brothers, sold the family’s historic property to Curwood Pasadena LLC in spring of 2023, voiced her enthusiasm for the plans. “I’m excited about it. I think it’s a good thing and something the community needs,” she said. “It’s close to Pasadena Senior Center, you’ve got The Y right next to it, Lake Shore Plaza is next door, there’s a church close by. Seniors won’t have to travel far to get what they need.”
