This past weekend, Pasadena’s High Tide Farm on the Magothy River hosted the 15th-annual Swim Across America open water swim fundraiser. The event on Saturday, September 21 brought over 350 swimmers from ages 11 through 82 into the waters of the Magothy, near Red House Cove. The participants were given the option to swim either 1 or 3 miles.
High Tide Farm and Swim Across America were able to raise over $550,000 for the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore. Donations are still being accepted through October 31 and can be made at www.swimacrossamerica.org/baltimore.
