Welcome to Pasadena, I’m very proud to say that Pasadena is one of the top three concentrations of employer establishments in Anne Arundel County. Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy and it’s inspiring to see how many entrepreneurs have taken their dreams and turned them into successful ventures. As a small business owner myself, I know how much hard work and dedication goes into running a successful business. It’s no surprise that so many businesses have chosen to make Pasadena their home.
As your State Delegate, it is my honor to be an active member in the local small business community by partnering with our local Chambers of Commerce and Pasadena Business Association. Just this month alone we’ve attended six ribbon cutting events for new businesses opening up or celebrating milestones – all thanks to people who had dreams and acted on them! It’s incredible to witness first-hand all these amazing small businesses popping up around us each day; they’re truly what makes Pasadena great.
If you’re looking for ways to support these amazing entrepreneurs within our community, there are plenty of opportunities available right here in Pasadena. Whether it’s attending grand openings or simply spreading the word about some great products or services offered by locals – every little bit helps keep our economy thriving! And if you know any other businesses that need recognition from us at my office then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us today – we’d love nothing more than showing off what makes Pasadena great: its people and their entrepreneurial spirit!
I would also like to give a very special Shout Out to the efforts of Carl and Terri Casalino, owners of The Rumor Meal, CHS Principal John Yore, Lois Kohlman, and Gabriel Kilroy, who all stepped in to ensure CHS/Pasadena students were kept safe, fed and dry during a local crisis which left many students stranded at school.
A message about the Magothy Bridge Project!
The project will reconstruct the existing bridge on Magothy Bridge Road over the Magothy River to correct existing deficiencies and substandard bridge deck geometry. The project is expected to be completed August 31, 2025. God willing!
