Divine Mercy Academy, an independent classical K-8 school located in Riviera Beach, will host an informational meeting on a potential private high school this Thursday evening, March 27 at 7:00pm in the school library at 8513 Saint Jane Drive. The meeting is open to any families that may be interested.
At the meeting, Divine Mercy Academy Headmaster Patrick Sullivan will share the school’s vision for a Classical Catholic high school experience, and will discuss logistics and potential timelines. There will also be time to gather feedback and insight from attendees. The school is requesting that anyone who may be interested in attending the high school complete This Google Form.
Those who are unable to join in-person on March 27 are welcome to join virtually at this link: https://meet.google.com/usm-zxka-yns.
Divine Mercy Academy was established in the fall of 2019, with just 19 students in a one-room annex of a Severna Park Lutheran church. Now, as they approach the close of their sixth year, enrollment has grown to nearly 150 students.
Last month, the school conducted an internal survey last month to assess demand for a potential high school. “With nearly 100 responses, the message was clear: the greater DMA community is hungry for a high school that is vibrantly Catholic, academically rigorous, and rooted in the classical tradition,” stated Headmaster Patrick Sullivan in a school email.
