Now in its ninth year, The Wine Festival at Kurtz’s Beach will take place this weekend – Saturday, October 19 and Sunday, October 20, 2024, at 2070 Kurtz Avenue in Pasadena. Formerly known as Wine On The Water, Kurtz’s Beach retitled the event this year to be known as The Wine Festival at Kurtz’s Beach. The overall layout and logistics of the festival remain the same as year’s past.
Taster’s Tickets are $50 each and include parking, admission to the event, a souvenir wine glass, unlimited wine samples, and live entertainment. Inside the event, you can purchase food, full glasses or bottles of wine, and full glasses of beer.
Proceeds from the festival will go to the University Of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center’s Tate Cancer Center, in honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year’s sponsors include Whiting-Turner, BELFOR Property Restoration, and Green Point Dispensary.
Wineries and distilleries represented at Kurtz’s Beach this year include Bonterra Organic Estates, Caymus Vineyards, Delicato Family Wines, Gray Wolf Spirits, Jackson Family Wines, Kind Vine Teacher Wines, Kobrand, Los Hermanos Tequila, LYON RUM, Misfit Winery, Palm Bay, Rosie Cheeks Distillery, Stella Rosa, Stone House Urban Winery, Tobacco Barn Distillery, Treasury Wine Estates, and Trinchero Family Wines.
Kurtz’s Beach will have a space at the festival selling food, as will several food trucks including 2 Bold Chefs, Breaking The Borders, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood and Old Line Crab Company.
Additionally, there will be a vendor marketplace with dozens of area artisans, crafters, and local businesses. This year’s lineup includes BMore Lit Candle Company, Cane Collective, Chesapeakes Girl, Clare’s Nutty Concoctions, Color Street (Dawn Mazur, Independent Stylist), Cut it out creations, Dad n Daughter Woodwork, Earthborn Beauty, For The Birds, Hon Style Sweets, Janessa Marie Designs, Jessica’s Hearts Foundation, Kaycie The Scentsy Lady, Kinda Jerky Really Nutty, Magothy Roasting Company, Nectar of the Vine, October Rust Designs, Oven and Whisk Cottage Bakery, Passanante’s Home Food Services, Peace Love and Charms, Practically Magic Cookies & Treats, Quaintrelle Boutique, Revitalize IV, Silky Soap Sensations, Starfish Coast, Sugar Crush Sweet Treats, Tails of Hope, Tallon Artistry, The Bay Hippy, The Droolin Dog, LLC, The Facebar Aesthetic Medicine, The Mighty Pen, The Stogie Co., The Street Cow, and Washed Up Art.
Live music will also take place throughout each afternoon. On Saturday, Honey Sol and Red Betty & The Ruckus will each take the stage. On Sunday, performances by Pretty Big Deal and NoMar Unltd & Friends will take place.
