Taste of Pasadena returns this year with a renewed focus on community, cuisine, and connection, bringing together some of the region’s most beloved local restaurants and culinary talents for an evening of flavor and fellowship. This year’s event, set for Tuesday, May 19 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, also marks a significant change in scenery, moving to a new waterfront destination just across town.
The event will be held at The Waterfront an up-and-coming premier event space situated directly off Stoney Creek. Recently enhanced under new ownership, the venue has quickly gained attention for its sweeping water views, modern design, and flexible indoor-outdoor layout built for large community gatherings and private celebrations alike.
This year’s event continues its tradition of showcasing the diversity of Pasadena’s food scene, featuring a lineup of local vendors that highlight everything from classic comfort food to creative catering specialties. This year’s lineup of participating restaurants, bakeries and caterers includes:
– Two Rivers Steak & Fish House
– Rumor Has It Catering
– Sam & Maggie’s Dockside Grill
– Soggy Bunz
– Johnny’s Family Restaurant
– Broken Oar Bar & Grill
– Sourdoughlicious
– Master P Bakes
– Nothing Bundt Cakes
– Magothy Roasters
– Cafe Deliciousness
– The Backyard
– The Brass Tap
Live music will once again be a central part of the experience, with local artist Jim Mateo providing performances throughout the event, adding to the welcoming, community-centered atmosphere that has become a hallmark of Taste of Pasadena.
Organized by the Pasadena Business Association, the event’s continued popularity comes down to its ability to bring people together around shared local pride. “What makes Taste of Pasadena so special is that it’s about more than just food – it’s a true celebration of our community,” said Hayley Bowerman, executive director of the Pasadena Business Association. “It’s a great way to meet the people behind these culinary creations, while also enjoying great music and checking out one of our area’s newest venues.”
Since its inception over 15 years ago, Taste of Pasadena has grown into one of the area’s signature community events, drawing residents from across Anne Arundel County and beyond. Organizers say its success lies in its simple but powerful formula: local food, local talent, and local pride – all in one place.
The Taste Of Pasadena is open to the entire community. Tickets to the event must be purchased in advance at https://www.pasadenabusinessassociation.com/event-detail/3uGXrkOttD8ZXKp2NLDEyw2/taste-of-pasadena, as they will not be available at the door.
