A familiar Pasadena restaurant space has officially entered a new chapter.
Farm & Flame is now open at 20 Magothy Beach Road, transforming the former home of The Lodge and, before that, The Greene Turtle, into a chef-driven dining destination. Owned and operated by Maryland and Virginia restaurateur Surinder Sandhu and his daughter, Aekam Sandhu, the new restaurant combines elevated cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and warm hospitality in a welcoming setting designed to bring people together.
Sandhu brings decades of experience in the restaurant industry to Pasadena. Throughout his career, he has owned and operated numerous restaurants across Maryland and Virginia, earning a reputation for building successful dining concepts centered on quality food and exceptional guest experiences. Earlier this year, Sandhu opened Barrio Burrito Bar in White Marsh, Maryland. Now, alongside his daughter Aekam, he is focused on creating a unique dining experience for the Pasadena community.
Farm & Flame’s Indian-American fusion menu reflects the Sandhu family’s vision of creating a restaurant with something for everyone. Diners can enjoy authentic Indian favorites like Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Tandoori Lamb, alongside American classics including handcrafted pizzas, wraps, burgers, pasta dishes, wings, and sandwiches. The menu also pays homage to Maryland’s culinary traditions with local favorites such as creamy crab dip, Maryland-style crab cakes, Old Bay fries, and dynamite shrimp. Whether guests are craving bold Indian flavors, familiar comfort food, or a little of both, Farm & Flame offers a diverse dining experience designed to bring family and friends together around the table.
The restaurant also features a full-service bar serving craft cocktails, beer, and wine, creating an inviting atmosphere for everything from casual lunches and family dinners to happy hour gatherings and special occasions. Inside, guests will find a warm, contemporary space that blends rustic charm with modern touches, making it equally suited for a weeknight meal or a celebration with friends and family. Sandhu stated that the outside patio area – including the bar area – will soon be open.
